However his goals were difficult to reach, as the simple act of feeding the workforce became a priority, In the harsh aftermath of war. The noontime lunch that Hirst provided was sometimes the only meal the workers got all day. At the end of the year. his goal was closely met. Of 10.020 Beetles produced that year. almost all of them were normal sedans. However a few Kommandeurwagens had also been put together when the pans were available. There were little to no changes this year .
