1944 Volkswagen Beetle

The final years of World War II had a devastating effect on the 1944-1945 Volkswagen Beetle. On August 7, 1944 the production ceased under pressure of Allied bombing, till then only 630 Beetle sedans and 13 cabriolet convertibles were built. But the popular little car found a way to persevere.
